Work Where Your Compassion Is Valued
Most people who choose hospice care don’t stumble into it. They feel called to it. If you’re someone who believes that how a person is cared for at the end of life truly matters, and you want to work somewhere that believes that too, Grace and Glory Hospice may be the place you’ve been looking for.
We are a family-owned, CHAP-certified hospice provider built on a simple but powerful idea: that patients and families deserve care that is personal, unhurried, and driven by genuine compassion. That kind of care starts with the right team.
We are always interested in connecting with skilled, compassionate individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional end-of-life care. Whether you are an experienced hospice professional or transitioning into this specialty for the first time, we welcome the conversation.
If you don’t see your specific role listed, reach out anyway. We’re a growing team, and the right person matters more to us than a job title.
We believe that caring for our staff is just as important as caring for our patients. When our team feels supported, respected, and valued, that energy carries directly into every patient interaction and every family conversation.
What you can expect when you join our team:
Specific compensation, benefits, and scheduling details are discussed during the interview process.
Grace and Glory Hospice was founded by Jane Porter, a hospice nurse with over 20 years of experience who has worked across many organizations, and who decided to build something better. She didn’t want to replicate a corporate model. She wanted to create a culture where both patients and staff are truly seen and supported.
That vision shapes everything about how we work.
Here, you won’t get lost in bureaucracy or feel like a number on a staffing sheet. You’ll work alongside people who chose this field because they care deeply, and who are led by an owner who has done this work herself and understands what it asks of you.
Families who work with us have direct access to our owner. So do our staff. That kind of access and accountability is rare, and it’s something we’re proud of.
Working in hospice care is not for everyone, and the best candidates know that going in. It is emotionally rich, deeply human work that asks you to show up fully: for patients, for families, and for your colleagues.
It also offers something that most healthcare settings cannot: the chance to make a lasting difference during the moments that matter most. Families remember the nurses, aides, social workers, and chaplains who cared for their loved ones. That kind of impact doesn’t fade.
If you thrive in a setting where relationships, communication, and clinical skill work together, and where your work carries real meaning at the end of every day, hospice care may be exactly where you belong.
We keep our process straightforward and respectful of your time.
Step 1: Submit Your Interest.
Reach out to us by phone, email, or through our contact form. Send along your resume and a brief note about the type of role you’re seeking and what draws you to hospice care.
Step 2: Initial Conversation.
We’ll schedule a relaxed introductory call or meeting to learn more about you, your experience, and your goals. This is also your opportunity to ask us anything about the role, the team, or our culture.
Step 3: Interview and Reference Review.
Qualified candidates will move forward to a formal interview. We’ll also conduct reference checks as part of our standard process.
Step 4: Licensing, Credentialing, and Background Check.
All clinical and administrative hires complete credentialing verification, background screening, and applicable health clearances prior to start.
Step 5: Orientation and Onboarding.
New team members complete an orientation that covers our care philosophy, workflows, documentation standards, and the values that guide everything we do at Grace and Glory Hospice.
If Grace and Glory Hospice sounds like the kind of place where you want to build your career, we’d love to hear from you. Send us your resume, introduce yourself, and let’s start a conversation. Call us at (650) 898-5784 or visit our Contact us to send us a message directly.
